Giving Children an Opportunity
Our 2024 Annual Report highlights significant growth in our educational programmes, with 225 learners now receiving Islamic education across all four communities.
2024 Educational Achievements
- 225 total learners supported
- 115 children in afternoon Madrasa
- 110 adults and new Muslims in classes
- 9 qualified teachers across all centres
- 5 days of classes per week
- Daily meals provided to all learners
Breakdown by Centre
- Zuurbekom: 70 learners (40 children + 30 adults)
- Simunye: 55 learners (25 children + 30 adults)
- Kliptown: 45 learners (25 children + 20 adults)
- Slovo Park: 55 learners (25 children + 30 adults)

Curriculum Highlights
Our comprehensive curriculum includes:
- Qur'an recitation and memorization
- Islamic beliefs (Aqeedah)
- Islamic jurisprudence (Fiqh)
- Prophetic biography (Seerah)
- Islamic manners and ethics
- Arabic language basics
2025 Goals
For 2025, we aim to:
- Increase total learners to 300
- Introduce vocational training programmes
- Launch digital learning resources
- Establish scholarship programme for gifted students
Support Opportunity: R420 sponsors one learner for one month. R5,040 sponsors one learner for one full year of Islamic education.
